I can’t count how many times I cried in this movie. It made me have empathy about what happened back in the day. It was like I could feel what was happening in the movie. Their feelings. The acting was tremendously good and had so many amazing meaningful quotes. Remember hearing about how the Ku Klux Klan burned down black people neighborhoods and home. Or just plained killed them. I was disgusted and felt angry towards them but it never made me want to cry. This movie showed me the fear they had and how they would literally run and hide in their homes as soon as something occured.

Police men weren’t even on their side. Living a world of fear and being hated so much because of the color of your skin.

I could say more. So much more but that would be a lot of typing. But. I’m lazy and there’s a pizza calling me.

amazing flick, the emotions are real, one of the best movies of 2011 in my opinion.
